New management at IGR-IAE Rennes

Hélène RAINELLI-WEISS, University Professor at IGR-IAE Rennes, was elected Director General of the school on Tuesday June 13, 2023 at the Board of Directors meeting.

She becomes the 12th Director General of IGR-IAE Rennes and the third woman to head the institute. She succeeds Gwénaëlle Poilpot-Rocaboy, a university professor specializing in Human Resources Management, who has headed the school since 2018.

Lionel Touchais, a university professor specializing in accounting, has been elected deputy director and succeeds Laurent Le Hen, who has accompanied Gwénaëlle Poilpot-Rocaboy throughout her term of office.

Hélène Rainelli-Weiss, a graduate of IGR-IAE Rennes, EM Lyon and Lancaster University, is a finance specialist and head of the Finance and Green Finance Master's program. After working as a lecturer and university professor at IGR-IAE Rennes, she joined IAE Paris Sorbonne Business School and then EM Strasbourg, returning to her roots in 2018.

Her research focuses on financial markets, their organization and regulation. She is also interested in the epistemology and ethics of finance, as well as future environmental and societal transitions. She is a member of the European Group of Organizational Studies, and for several years chaired the jury for the FNEGE's best management book.

Olivier Jeulin, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Eric Challan-Belval, Vice-Chairman, and all the directors will be present alongside Hélène Rainelli-Weiss, the new Managing Director, and her new team, to continue to steer this fine school, renowned for nearly 70 years, with the same energy and the same values.
