Created in 1955 as IAE (Institute of Administration and Business), Rennes' IAE is the first University Institute of teaching and research in Management of the West.
In 1969, the IAE of Rennes became IGR, Institut de Gestion de Rennes, to highlight its territorial anchorage and promote its development dynamics.
